If you see a ‘Letter Not Found’ error when opening your digital letter, follow these steps:
- Go to the patient portal: https://drdoctor.thirdparty.nhs.uk
- Click "Sign in with another provider"
-
You may need to scroll down the login page and select this option.
-
- Enter your details and click continue.
-
Choose your hospital
- You’ll be prompted to select the hospital you want to access.
- A security code will be sent to your saved phone number.
- Once verified, you’ll be able to view your letters.
- When ready, make sure to Sign out as this helps avoid login errors the next time
Shared Contact Info?
If the letter isn’t for you, it may belong to someone else who shares your contact details (like a family member or someone under your care). Try logging in using their details.
Still not working?
If you still can't view the letter:
- Your hospital records may be outdated, for example, using an old name or address.
- The system might log you in automatically to one hospital and skip the provider selection step.
To resolve this you must contact your hospital directly
They manage your contact details and we cannot update your records. You can find the hospital’s contact info on letters or text messages they’ve sent you or their official website.
