DrDoctor is a Patient Engagement Platform used by over 24 million patients across the UK. The services we provide may include appointment notifications, online rescheduling, video consultations, digital letters, and remote care assessments. We have worked closely with the NHS over the last 13 years and meet the highest standards of security.
Our email messages only come from the email no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk and our phone number is 07860 039092. We will never contact you from a contact not mentioned in this Help Centre or on our main Website.
There has been a rise in scam attempts where fraudsters may impersonate a company via text, email, or calls. These messages often create urgency (e.g., "Your account is locked," "Claim your refund" "Unpaid bill") and pressure you to click links or provide personal details.
Please note: DrDoctor will never ask you to pay a bill or offer any refunds. We only provide healthcare communications and these are available here: https://drdoctor.thirdparty.nhs.uk
What to do:
- Check the text message or email sender to make sure it is from DrDoctor.
- Do NOT click links or download attachments in unexpected messages.
- Do NOT share personal information (card numbers, bank details) via text or email.
- Verify by contacting us directly using the Submit a request button above.
Example of a scam message:
You can notice the below scam behaviours:
- The email address from which it is sent has an unknown domain and does not match our email address which is no-reply@drdoctor.co.uk.
- The email is mentioning a refund, but we do not charge or refund patients.
- The message adds urgency informing that the link is only valid for a limited time.
